CUPOLA

Featured in Dezeen, this transformable pavilion's collapsable motions are completed through an exploration of multiple scissor joints that overlap one another. The pavilion is built on 4 horizontal and 10 vertical layers of scissors connected by 3D-printed joints. Each scissor is fabricated using plywood material and assembled using washers, bolts, and lock nuts for smooth movement.
